The Community has consistently rated these albergues highly. We feature them here as a thank you to them for their dedication, and to give you a list for your planning. Of course those albergues are also marked in the app.
One of the best albergues on the Camino FrancΓ©s.
You can book a massage here, if you do it early enough or if there are still slots. The communal dinner is definitely a highlight, as is the yard and the inside communal room. A cafΓ© in which you can also purchase local cheeses rounds up this albergue's reputation and one of the best on the Caminos.
This albergue was completely redone in 2024, with new showers, complete energy idependence, water from a local source, and comfy bunk beds. Great views at a relaxing vista and good food round up the experience. Worth a stay, but at least a stop for breakfast or coffee.
A must-not-miss stop with a twist.
A great albergue that suffers a bit from its location between "official" stages. A great place you should not miss, though. Also perfect distance, if you're leaving Santiago after morning mass or on the same day you arrived.
A great little albergue that has recently been redesigned to have private rooms and more space for everyone. One of our favorites on the Camino, and it seems the community agrees.
