Our Mission

The Camino has always been about community, generosity, shared experiences, and leaving it better than you found it. We believe the tools that support pilgrims should reflect these same values.

That's why Camino Now will always be free, open, and maintained by the community. No venture capital, no exit strategy, no monetization plan. Just pilgrims helping pilgrims, in the true spirit of the Way.

Great Partnerships

We are partnering not only with the Order of Malta (Knights Hospitaller, est. 1113), the very organization that built the hospitals on the Caminos and have protected Pilgrims for almost 1000 years. We are also proudly supporting efforts like BookAlbergue by local albergue owners to create their own website, app, and infrastructure to provide an alternative to predatory booking sites and affiliate programs.
